Premarital Counseling
Building a solid foundation
Premarital counseling is a way you can prepare for your marriage, helping to ensure you have a deep understanding of each other and the skills to make your marriage healthy and strong. By taking a broad look at the common areas where couples struggle in their relationship, you can be more prepared and have a solid plan in place from the beginning. I am a trained Prepare/Enrich facilitator. The advantages of this program include its strong assessment focus and skill building exercises across a variety of domains. You can click here to learn more.
I also offer premarital counseling outside of Prepare/Enrich if couples prefer.
Preparing for Baby
Bringing a new life into the world and your family is a huge transition. Research has show that in the first 3 years after a baby is born two-thirds of couples experienced a drop in the quality of their relationship. This is huge! And it makes sense--there are so many new things to learn, adjust to, and navigate, plus the sleepless nights, additional responsibilities, etc.
Couples' enrichment therapy can help provide you with a strong base for your growing family. You can work on improving your communication, strengthen your ability to solve conflicts, increase your intimacy, and learn how to build a stronger family.
